Ashland Veterinary Hospital
Ashland Veterinary Hospital was the first Vet Hospital in Ashland, Oregon. Dr. Stephen Tesluk took ownership of the hospital in 2005 after graduating from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Tesluk has created a family-friend environment that is dedicated to providing the absolute best care possible for all clients and their beloved pets. Every team member is devoted to the care and well-being of each animal.
Dr. Tesluk recommends all pets receive annual exams, as this is the most important way for a pet owner to ensure their pets stay happy and healthy. The hospital provides preventative care including vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, nutritional counseling, and dental cleanings. If any problems do arise, the veterinary team is prepared to get an accurate diagnosis quickly and efficiently. The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory, xrays, and ultrasound imaging systems. Medical services include geriatric, internal, behavior, and oncology medicine. In additions, Ashland Veterinary Hospital offers boarding to cats and dogs, with a “No Kennel Cough” Guarantee.
Ashland Veterinary Hospital also offers Class IV therapeutic laser therapy and was the first to do so in the Rogue Valley. The therapy is a drug-free treatment for back pain, arthritis, chronic ear and skin infections, post-surgical pain, and other inflammatory conditions. The laser therapy speeds up the healing process by increasing energy production in cells, which the cells use to produce the proteins for healing. Laser therapy is also used to decrease the activity of pain nerves, damage and kill bacteria, and promote collagen deposition to accelerate healing.
